Today, Wrekin were lucky enough to have the opportunity to spend some time in a blow up space dome. We got to experience a planetarium from the comfort of school! The children got to relax as we went on a guided tour of the solar system, starting with exploring the different planets. We learned how long it would take to travel to some of them and thought about the Mars Mission. Did you know that it is probably going to take 20 years for NASA to send humans to Mars? And did you know that the average age of the current astronauts is 30? That means that it’s entirely possible that one of us could end up going to Mars! Watch this space!
