At St George’s we really value the input of the children in the decisions made that effect our school.
In addition to extending the traditional PTA to a PPTA (Parent Pupil Teacher Association) , we also invest in two formal committees:
The School Council & The Eco Committee
The committees consist of two pupils from each class, a teacher year group
representative, Governors and parents. The committees meet monthly in school time.
A recent addition to encourage pupil voice has been the set up of our Safeguarding Board. This is made up of pupils from all year groups who meet every Monday after school with the support of Miss Silcock and Miss McDonnell.
