Welcome to Year 3

Marvelous Maths in Wenlock

Partitioning and Place Value

This week in Maths, we have been looking at place value and partitioning numbers to 1,000. We know that numbers below a thousand can have a hundreds, tens and ones digit. To make different numbers we rolled a dice and made our own numbers, then we partitioned them. It was so much fun!

Seesaw

Go to Seesaw

At St. George’s, we make regular use of a platform called Seesaw (http://seesaw.me).
It is a secure online journal where students can document and reflect on what they are learning in class. Pupils are able to add the things we work on (including photos, videos, worksheets, drawings and voice recordings) to their Seesaw journal. We also set the weekly spellings, and sometimes other tasks, for pupils to complete at home.
Should there be a period of school closure, we are also able to use this platform to record and deliver lessons.

Useful Information for parents

Physical Education: PE for Clee and Willstone is on Mondays and Tuesdays. For Wenlock it is Tuesdays and Thursdays. We go outside as much as we
can, so please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.
Key Dates:
