Welcome to Year 3

Maths in Clee

This week we have been looking at fractions and what makes a whole. We made a ‘playdough sausage’ to cut up into different fractions to see how the whole could be divided up. Take a look at some of our work below.

Seesaw

Go to Seesaw

At St. George’s, we make regular use of a platform called Seesaw (http://seesaw.me).
It is a secure online journal where students can document and reflect on what they are learning in class. Pupils are able to add the things we work on (including photos, videos, worksheets, drawings and voice recordings) to their Seesaw journal. We also set the weekly spellings, and sometimes other tasks, for pupils to complete at home.
Should there be a period of school closure, we are also able to use this platform to record and deliver lessons.

Useful Information for parents

Physical Education: PE is on Thursdays and Fridays. We go outside as much as we
can, so please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.
Key Dates:

Homework
