Science and DT in Wenlock We had a great last week before the Easter holidays, making our DT boxes and taking part in more experiments exploring magnetism. The children especially enjoyed creating a maze for our mouse to get to the cheese…we put a magnet underneath the board to get the paperclip (mouse) to move without contact with the magnet. We learnt that magnetism is a non-contact force. We also looked at everyday uses of magnets such as in high-speed trains, electronic items and even inside a cow’s stomach!
