This afternoon, Ragleth Class explored the methods and items which were traded by the ancient Maya. We first learnt about the types of product each area of the Maya civilisation had to offer and how the topography of the land affected this. Using role play, the pupils traded items from the Northern Lowlands, Central Lowlands and Southern Highlands to ensure they had enough food, tools and other precious items.
