Design and Technology in Corndon – Mechanisms

This half term in DT lessons we are looking at hinges and how many ways there are to open a door. We started by looking at some different types of hinges and how they work, spotting different types of hinge around the school grounds. We drew and labelled a “butt hinge” and even had a go at making some hinges too.
